To help you make the “good choice” when selecting a Shawnee Trail Cycling Club ride, we have made an attempt to rate each ride based on a combination of factors. We have selected what we consider the most important criteria, including pace, distance and terrain.
Please take into account that these ratings are based on someone of average fitness. If your fitness is above or below the average participant, you may find these rides much easier or far more difficult to complete.
For example when looking at the Saturday CPS C pace group, it has a pace of C (3) + a distance of 45mi (4) + rolling hills throughout the ride (5) for a total overall rating of 12

Bill was elevating his education and was going to miss our Thursday night rides for 3 months or so. The Wed Night Special was supposed to be short term, stopping when Bill returned to his regular schedule. Guess what? With STCC, when you start a ride - just try to kill it. Won't happen.
Description
The Wednesday Night Special has morphed into another great Shawnee Trail CC night group ride! There's not a lot of overall climbing on this ride, but with Spring Creek, Crooked Stick and Windhaven thrown in, this adds some climbs that are missing on our other evening outings.
Offering B, C & D pace groups, we think you'll find this complements the other weekly STCC rides. Whether you're looking for some tough fitness or just a nice group outing - this should work for you!
