My thought was Discovery… My thought was the riders are trying to discover how to ride. It is still part of our job as RL’s to teach. Too many riders jump off of Novice to “D” without the proper skills. The “D” leaders have to spend time teaching the riders. Again, part of our job, but it needs to happen before a 30-40 mile D ride.
