The City of Frisco has been awarded the Bronze level Bicycle Friendly Community status, joining Plano and Richardson as the only current awardees in North Texas. This award reinforces what we all already know - Frisco Bikes! The Bronze award recognizes communities that are making major efforts to make their communities more bike friendly. It shows the efforts and strong support of our Mayor, City Council, staff and yes, our citizens. This demonstrates the resolve of Frisco to improve the health and support the lifestyle we've all come to love.
Recent actions by the city to implement bike parking requirements and begin a revision of the city's Hike and Bike Plan reinforce the longstanding support for cycling in Frisco.
