To help you make the “good choice” when selecting a Shawnee Trail Cycling Club ride, we have made an attempt to rate each ride based on a combination of factors. We have selected what we consider the most important criteria, including pace, distance and terrain.
Please take into account that these ratings are based on someone of average fitness. If your fitness is above or below the average participant, you may find these rides much easier or far more difficult to complete.
For example when looking at the Saturday CPS C pace group, it has a pace of C (3) + a distance of 45mi (4) + rolling hills throughout the ride (5) for a total overall rating of 12

As the club grew, there was a call for a local ride on New Years morning so that our members could do as they wished on New Year's Eve, sleep in just a bit and take a short drive/ride to the start - and could get home early enough to watch some football (code for "nap").
As good as 2016 has been for you on your bike, 2017 is going to rock! This is your chance to kick off the year with a great ride and friends new and old.
Our routes this year will take us from Frisco to Aubrey and back on some very scenic roads. Yes, we'll have chipseal, but how does it go - without the bad, you wouldn't appreciate the good and there's plenty of smooth road on this route.
When is it? We've already been asked - the New Year's Day ride is actually on New Year's Day!
Remember for this ride, apart from the regular Shawnee Trail Cycling Club etiquette, Ride Leader's rules ARE the rules!
For questions about the ride, contact us
Paces and Distances: All subject to change, due to participation and Ride Leader availability, but we are planning
