Mo’s Quick Tips: Group Riding Tip of the Week-Prologue

We all ride our bikes for different reasons, but regardless of our motivation and purpose for mashing and pounding those pedals, we all want to have fun.  One way of having fun is to ride with a group.

Riding in a group is like playing golf.  It requires skill, but you also have to follow some etiquette.  The purpose of these protocols in cycling is to ensure the group’s safety while all the riders are having fun and enjoying themselves. These rules are only effective if practiced by everyone in the group regardless of their level experience, and they should be applied throughout the length of the ride and not only when policed by ride leaders.
